Your Eyes

Why were the teacher's eyes crossed?

Answer:  She couldn't control her pupils.

The pupil is a tiny hole in the middle of your eye - the black dot - that allows light and colors in.

If too much light gets in, it could damage your eye.   Because of this, the hole gets bigger in the dark and shrinks in the light.   This happens by a muscle opening and closing.

Six muscles coordinate your eyes movements.
