We choose to stick with the public school system for several reasons. 

First and foremost, my daughter was not about to let anyone ‘chase’ or ‘bully’ her away... regardless of who they were/are.  She wanted to go back and ‘confront’ the situation.

Second, we weighed our options and the public school was the best education opportunity on the table. 

   ~ Mommy is not smarter than a 5th Grader... ;)

   ~ being around kids her own age was more sparse when home schooled...

   ~ private schools do not comply with educational modifications or accommodations, nor do they have services available...

FYI

Get a formal Educational Evaluation!  It is the only thing a public school HAS to adhere to and adjust for.  {Even then it was difficult.}

Your child is ENTITLED to an education!!  AND modifications and accomodations!!
